Actually, the truth kind of came out and they demonstrated how it did. According to him, it was 'safe' to travel. Yet according to his wife, who was interviewed, they returned because they didn't want to be stuck in another country knowing that he had this potentially death threatening disease. They showed both interviews on Fox the other evening.

So no, I don't believe for one second that he was truthful.

No way. Too many different things coming out now. Let's face it, he's a lawyer and we all know they dont lie. Think his dad is a lawyer also and since he father -in-law works for the CDC this will get all ripped backwards.

Lot of investigations and nothing will come of it. Except maybe some people he coughed on will die from TB and no one will know anything about it.

He came back to the US for best in medical care and for his own interests. I usually dont think of attorneys as being worried about anyone but themselves.

My only question is why did the CDC send a letter to tell someone they had to report for treatment for a deadly plague? I'm thinking they dropped the ball big time...yet again. It's not the first time they've done something so utter incompetent that it boggles the mind. They ignored HIV for years and did nothing. Now it's a global pandemic and to this day no one has ever been disciplined or fired.

No John i don't his father in law works at the CDC studying TB, and he knew from being an atty every loop hole and used it. He is not only a menace to society but a danger to him self and others and deserves some mental health like commitment in the loony bin

Yes, something will come from this. This strain of TB cannot be developed on its own. So, there are only 2 possibilities. 1. Someone else has it that he knows of. 2. Father in law gave it to him from CDC lab, which happens to be the strain he studied. (strange)

No! And I cannot believe that some of our national media is giving this guy sympathy, coming out with stories that paint this guy as some happy-go-lucky groom who just wanted to get married! He should be in jail!! How dare he endanger the lives of 100's of people, he is the epitome of selfishness!! He flew from Atlanta to Greece (1 flight), Greece to Paris (2nd flight), Paris to Rome (3rd flight), Rome to Prague (4th flight) Prague to Montreal (5th flight) all the while knowing what he has! How despicable! He's an ambulance chaser and he is using the same excuses that his lowlife clientele use to get out of being responsible for anything. I hope he is charged, goes to jail, loses his license to practice law and is sued by everyone who was on one of the five flights with him!!!

NO! If he was told to travel, who gave him this bogus advice? About his new father-in-law in CDC - now with his experience and his kind of job, why was he not recommending what Speaker should or should not do?
For the safety of America there needs to be direct action taken. Speaker was educated, therefore one can't blame ignorance on this problem!

I think he should be prosecuted. I agree with Tony he is a I selfish narcissist who was not going to allow anything get in his way. He just testified for congress and said it was the doctors fault they never told him he was contagious.
He put a lot of people at risk and think he is a horrible person.

His story doesn't make sense. He showed poor judgment. I'm also concerned that this administration has done for the CDC what they have done to other agencies like FEME, have them run by incompetents who have no business protecting the public.

Not even a little bit.

And whether you do or not - he deserves MAJOR punishment for defying the orders of the CDC and re-entering the country.

He could have put a lot of people at major risk because of his own selfishness.
