but like it in other foods? I can't stand raw onions or even cooked ones most of the time. However, I like french onion chip dip, sour cream and onion flavored chips, gravy made with onion soup mix, onion powder and onion rings but only from BK....Maybe I am just weird... :P

Hey Slyvia it's only onion rings from Burger King for some reason they don't taste like onions...lol BTW, I've tried red onions and they are just as bad...YUK!!!

LMAO! I hate onions, too. But I just love, sour cream & onion chips, I love french onion dip and french onion soup....I do cook with onions, though. As for onion rings? Not a shot.
My husband happens to despise cabbage, but could eat egg rolls by the dozen. :)

I am with you on the onions, except I do like them cooked in stirfrys and stuff. Another one is raw peppers but love them cooked. Or Cheese Slices the only way I can eat them is melted on a burger or in a grill cheese sandwich. Ketchup is only for fries,burgers and hot dogs. Mayo only for tuna/egg salads or a turkey sand. I though I was wierd or to picky but I am glad I am not now.

you are not the only one that hates onions, they stink when you peel them, but i like them when they are fried and put on a salad, i also like onion rings, those Funnyo's chips that are really like onion rings, i also like sourcream and onion lays chips, and fried chicken really tastes good when there is onion power mixed in the skin of the chicken. i guess, i'm weird too.

Nope you're not weird cuz I'm the same way with onions! I have others I could list too:
1. spinach - I'll only eat it uncooked & in salad form....if it's cooked & in anything then it makes me gag. Blech!
2. tomatoes - absolutely disgusting by themselves yet I L-O-V-E tomato soup, spaghetti/pizza sauce, salsa, ketchup & bloody marys....well, the ketchup & spaghetti/pizza sauce I don't LOVE but you get the idea. hehe.
3. Cabbage - hate it but love egg rolls!

Can't stand mushrooms. there disgusting and squishy. yuk yuk. I used to actually hate onions but i say you try red onions dipped in vinegar, yum yum and yum!

I don't like mushrooms or olives but sometimes I'll eat it if it's on a pizza with other toppings. And I hate mayo but I'll eat potato salad which is full of mayo.
