STAR WARS! STAR WARS IS ALWAYS BETTER! Star Trek is sooooo boring, outdated and stupid. Star Wars is the greatest story of all time!
And George Lucas is a GENIUS! George changed the way movies were made, none of the special effects you see would exist if George hadn't have tried it back in 1976.
For example, Peter Jackson would be NOTHING without the help of Lucas.
Star Wars is the greatest movie of all time.
It is the biggest movie franchise of all time, and including inflation, which is essential, it is still the HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE OF ALL TIME. That was in 1977, and still Star Trek, LOTR or HP can't stand a CHANCE! Wake up! And all those other movie makers will admit that one of their biggest inspirations was George Lucas. There is no way around it, Star Wars has achieved more than any other movie series ever. It has the best story, best characters, best special effects and has made the most money. Star Wars is forever, nothing stands a chance. Check the resources:
