That the freedom that we hav today, came at the cost of someone losing their freedom so that we would have freedom. Make sense? Basically, someone gave up their freedom, so that you and me can have freedom

with freedom comes responsibility. once you have the power to make more choices, you need to own up to those choices. in the end, freedom is good, but we also have to be held accountable for whatever comes of our freedom and our choices, whether that is good or bad.

basically, if you want something that's free, live in a box and have someone else tell you what to do all your life. if you want to be able to live your own life, then take the freedom but pay the price of your actions.

Freedom is not free because it comes with responsibility. Now that you have freedom you are held accountable to keep it. Freedom is also something that can be taken for granted or it could be lost.

I just learned that quote today as I was walking pass a hallway!

To me, it means that freedom isn't something that we should take for granted, because freedom isn't free in the sense that it wasn't that easy to obtain.

It means that freedom isn't a given, and that it has to be defended from time to time. And that sometimes costs us, but it's worth the price.

It means you only get the freedom you are willing to take, hold, and maintain. You cannot sit back and hope freedom will remain, it is a neverending battle to keep.

Freedom does not come without a price (i.e. time, commitment, passion, and lives). So much needs to be sacrificed to maintain the state of freedom. It does not come to those who are not willing to fight for it.

What would you do
If you were asked to give up your dreams for freedom
What would you do
If asked to make the ultimate sacrifice

Would you think about all them people
Who gave up everything they had.
Would you think about all them War Vets
And would you start to feel bad

Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
No, there's a hefty ******' fee.
And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five
Who will?

What would you do
If someone told you to fight for freedom.
Would you answer the call
Or run away like a little pussy
'Cause the only reason that you're here.
Is 'cause folks died for you in the past
So maybe now it's your turn
To die kicking some ***

Freedom isn't free
It costs folks like you and me
And if we don't all chip in
We'll never pay that bill
Freedom isn't free
Now there's a have to hook'in fee
And if you don't throw in your buck 'o five
Who will?

You don't throw in your buck 'o five. Who will?
Oooh buck 'o five
Freedom costs a buck 'o five

It means that your freedom, has its limitations. You can do everything you want and so do other people. They can do anything that may affect ur freedom.

If you want to secure your freedom. You must prepare to defend it. Which means spending money and time. And when the time comes to defend it. Unfortunately blood.
