1] if you have good skin, don't wear foundation. use a drugstore brand concealer for occasional zits or dark circles.
2] blush flatters almost everyone. Decide if you look better in COOLS - white, pinks, cherry red, coral, lemon, mint, jade, or hunter green, baby blue, royal, navy, lavender, eggplant, gray, black, silver; or
WARMS - ivory, tomato red, peach, orange, rust, golden yellow, lime, kelly, or olive green, turquoise, teal, bright purple, caramel, or chocolate brown
Pick pinks, corals, or reds from the cools; or peach, bronze or reds from the warms. If you have dry skin, try a cream blush, and start with small amounts; you can always add more.

When I first started wearing make up, I went to my local department store and had a consultation with one of the experts. I explained that I wanted to be shown the bast ways of putting makeup on and asked for advice regarding what colours suited me. You are under no obligation to buy and if they give you the hard sell, just say that you want to go outside to see how it looks in daylight(which you should do before buying any makeup) and if money is an issue, you can go to a chemist and get similar colours for much less money :)

Start with some sheer eyeshadow and mascara, both of which the covergirl brand is pretty good. For the mascara though the Maybelline great lash mascara is the best. And then go for some lipgloss. U need to play around with textures and colors and see wut u feel comfy in. Then u can go with blush and eyeliner as those r usually the hardest to do and make natural.
