has anybody every put a potatoe in the microwave to bake without poking holes in the potatoe first

No I have never tried that. But I think you probably should poke holes in it so that it can vent or whatever. You know? Haha. Well, after it is cooked, put lots of cheese and sour cream and butter so it's extra super yummy!

yea and it toook forever to cook(i gave up eventaully) the best way to do it is to put it in a plastic grocery sack with holes in the potatoe and tie the bag up and poke about 4 holes in the bag and cook it for about 9 minutes or so! its great!!

Yeah, I do it all the time. Only once or twice have I had one explode. They do lots of hissing, though...

yes, i'll never do it again! it blew up and the pressure wave broke the light bulb inside
