Yes you can - I've done it. However, don't make the mistake my brother did - this does not require any oil. It WILL cause a fire - he did it! Just put the corn - 1/4 cup? - in a brown lunch sack. Fold down the top a few times and microwave until popping slows like with purchased microwave popcorn.

No I haven't. And you are not supposed to open the bag anyway.
What happens? The popcorn will fill your microwave. And also will make it messy.

sorry but it wont pop.i have accidentally opened the bag and it didnt pop! the heat in the bag helps the kernels pop and if the bag is opened it will not pop!
