When my other half is not feeling well.... Try to help make them feel better.... If it's something physical... let them rest, and/or take them to the Dr. If it's more of a mental kind of thing... let them get it out of their system... and just be there for them, and let them know that you care and will be there if they need you... after all that's what a wife/husband or boyfriend/girlfriend is for... right??!!

Jet? He has a specific howl when he's going to be sick, I pick him up by the scruff of the neck and race for the back door. If I don't think I'll make it in time, I race for the litter tray.
Otherwise I get the disinfectant out and clean the sick up.

Humor them cos if it's a bloke u can bet ur life theyr not as bad as what they r making out to be!
Having said that my ex had strokes and he was faking how quickly he got better! Had me running around making cups of tea,i soon learnt put cups on worktop milk on bottom shelf and got a cordless phone! He was able to make tea when i was out so how come as soon as i come in he was unable to?

Look after him...but give no sympathy if its flu as there is no such thing as man flu...lol
If we get flu we still have to cope with him, the kids, the house and a job...when he gets flu, he says its man flu which is alot worse than female flu so he has to go to bed and act like a baby...lol

I try and ignore the moans and groans of him 'dying', since its usually just a cold, but to him its the bubonic plague. Man flu is the worst illness ever.

I buy her some cold medicine or take her to the doctor. I also make sure she gets extra sleep.
