Do you know nothing about springs and wells? If you knew anything at all, you'd know that water doesn't come out of the TOP of a mountain.

It may come out of the side of a mountain after collecting beneath permeable layers of rock from rainfall. The amount of water trapped and the difference in altitude from the upper level of the water table to the lower level, and the permeability of the aqueous layer(s) determine the hydrostatic pressure you can get from tapping the spring.

Do some research. Know something about your topic. THEN ask your questions.

As far as I know only lava comes out the top (peak) of a mountain ... and then only when it's volcanic.

I guess you're talking about springs? Where water comes out of the ground on the **side** of the mountain? Springs can be found at most heights on a mountain - including near the foot (bottom).

it can come from the top of a mountian if it rains on the slopes. but coming out of the top of a mountain would require that the rocck strata be inclined towards the peak of the mountin and the water to travel in a linear fashion along this strata. and it can just as easily from the bottom of a mountain.

Often the water coming from the top is melting snow. There are also springs that can happen at any elevation.

BECAUSE water is stored naturally underground and it comes out of holes. The only natural holes and near the top of mountains and volcanoes.

Sometimes springs.
