Yeah, I'd say this is definitely a philosophy question.

I guess whether or not you exist before you're born depends on your belief system and the definition for the concept of a soul.

Those who believe in reincarnation certainly believe that we existed in some other form before we were born, and that being born is kind of a part of the spiritual evolution process.

Other religions will have various takes on the answer to this. But my take on it is more inline with Buddhism. Basically, I think that the life energy in me is the same as what's in all living things everywhere. So if we are all linked in life, then before our souls found these current forms we must have originated from the same source. So yes. I think we might have existed before we were born into this reality in some form.

Or of course you could just take the realist POV and still answer the question with a yes. Just say that you existed before you were born because you were swimming around in your father's sack.

Loopy, I know. But kinda original.

Only hereditary DNA. However there are belief systems that believe other wise.
However scientific proof is needed to support those claims. The proof of the pudding would be if preexistence of human existed, than there would be proof.
So far created Human beings have no recollection of being in a womb.

Yes, life exists before birth! We are all energy and energy can neither be created nor destroyed! What shape or form that our energy takes depends on what world we are born into!

Yes, we all lived as the spirit children of God the Father in the pre-mortal existence in Heaven. Our existence is eternal, our intelligence without beginning.
