Why? Really, what was the reason? Lack of attention at home? Lack of love? I just can't seem to understand.

It doesn’t really matter the reason, there’s nothing that can justify cheating. I guess some people just get caught up in the moment, others do it to get revenge, others because they just have no sense of loyalty in their relationship or because their feelings for their partner aren’t true feelings. Some people fall out of love, some fall for another person, other’s just do it for excitement, or yeah lack of attention if their significant other wasn’t taking care of their needs. Sad to say but the list goes on…

I stopped at kissing, but It is still cheating. The reasons were: Lack of attention and NO sex which made me feel unattractive so when I got some attention from a friend It felt nice to feel good about myself again.

What is there to understand? For starters if you read the bible you will find some answers in there. So cheating or committing adultery has been going on for centuries my dear. I did it when I was very young and married. I don't condone it!!! but I did it. My excuse was, I was too young, married and with a baby and was missing out on what was happening during that period. And your reasons above are just a few out of hundredths of reasons why people cheat on each other.

1st there could be alot of reasons
2nd abuse
3rd the other one has done it
4th lack of
5th want the drama
6th something new
7th getting none
8th pressure from the person who wants the affair
9th think you can get away with it
10th mental abuse, abuse of all kinds
Need i say more. I know you don't get it but there are alot of reasons people do it , and some will do it just for the pure heck of doing it ego!!!!

In my experience it usually has little to do with the spouse. It is an issue with a lack of self esteem on the partner involved in the cheating. I don't believe once a cheater always a cheater but one has to get to the bottom of the original reasons in order to change the behavior.

Answers for men and women are totally different. IN MY OPINION: Men cheat just to have something different; because they had the option; just to see if they could do it and get away with it. Women cheat because they turn to another man for what they lack at home or revenge. Either way IT'S WRONG!!!!

I did it once. I got married young (19) & my husband was working 100+ hours/week. These are not meant to be excuses. I guess I just did it because I liked the attention. Afterward, I felt like I totally disrespected myself (and him, of course, but I'm talking about me here) and made a vow to myself to never do it again. That was almost 20 years ago & I never have. We divorced & I am now married to a wonderful man. I definitely learned from my "mistake".

I've cheated on every single one of my boyfriends except the one I am with now. I can look back now and give you a better answer than I would have back then. I did it because I felt insecure with myself so when a guy wanted to 'do something' with me I felt pretty... little did I know all those guys I cheated with just wanted some. Duh! The man I am with now lets me know every day that I am beautiful and more than just words... he makes me FEEL beautiful! No need to cheat ever again!

I just saw a guy I was attracted to and my bf was the furthest thing from my mind. So I kept going in the direction I needed to get this guy in bed. And of course I was sorry later on. Everyones sorry when "the cuffs go on". But, I can proudly say I have NEVER cheated on my husband!

,,, I look at is, one day you buy that brand new Mercedes Benz,,,,, sure its the best for a few years but after a while, it's a 10 year old Jelopy....... So that new Ferrari, just moved in down the block.... why not take it for a test drive?
I know I can't afford it but at least I can ride it from time to time....
In short if you don't want to take it in the rear, someone else will, so stop being such a prude and make your man happy!.... sorry, the truth is tough to swallow... no pun intended.
