My neighbor adopted a little boy. When he brought him home, I brought over a gift, and introduced my child to this little boy, so he could have a friend. When this little boy was sick, I made him chicken soup. I called often to invite him over for play, and outings.
I over did it. I did too much. I tried too hard.
I learned that if people want help or company, they will have to seek it, or ask. I learned to 'back off'.

Reversing my car to let this d*ck into my lane, although he was supposedly trying to go another way, attacking me later for not letting him in. He thought I was moving to get IN his way. This led to a pretty bad road rage incident on his part. This was a 40 year old fat f*ck and I was at the time a petite 21 year old girl.

Giving a 'homeless and desperate' man $ on the corner of an intersection only to find he was on his cell phone when I passed by him 20 minutes later! Scandalous!

As a child I thought that if I was good enough I could keep my parents together. Good thought, but it doesn't work that way.
