I'd say the Lakers in the Staples Center era are up there, along with the Pistons. Going to see the Lakers at the Forum was fine, the fans there seemed knowledgeable and respectful, but since they moved downtown the tenor of the event has been louder and dumber. A whole new type of fan seems to have emerged in the last decade. I remember being at a Laker/Sonic pre-season game the year Ewing played there. There was no Knicks-Laker rivalry to speak of in the 80s-90s, so no need to do anything other than show respect to one of the top 20 centers in NBA history in what was probably going to be his last season, especially in an exhibition. Instead, they yelled all this abuse at him, "You're too **** old," "Retire." Meanwhile, their team started Ron Harper and Horace Grant.
The Pistons, though, are just obnoxious; they come in to an away game and act like louts, and who can forget the brawl at the Palace, instigated by a drunk fan who threw something at an opposing player. So, I have to say the Pistons are worse, by a length, followed by the Lakers, with Utah fans getting dishonorable mention for being the biggest spazzes. Seriously, everytime I go to a Utah game their fans are a bunch of geeks who make sniggering comments about the other team.

I would say Charlette or Atlanta, but I am not sure if they have fans. But for the teams that do have fans, I think that the 6ers have the worst fans. Seems like they are never satisified and they dont rember the good side of things. If you ask 76ers about Allen Iverson, I bet not many of them will rember how he lead them to the nba finals not to long ago.

Golden State. They have very few loyal fans and a truckload of bandwagon fans. Half of the people in the Arena never gave a crap about them until they made some noise this year in the playoffs.

Lakers and Piston fans. Seattle fans are some of the nicest I've met, Phoenix fans were nice as well until they didn't get what they wanted.

The Phoenix Suns fans. After the Spurs knocked them out of the playoffs, several of them posted 'questions' here, saying they hoped Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan broke their legs and were forced to retire. How one person could wish that on another is beyond me.
