the stars , the planets and all galactic matter formpart of the universe .By the term unverse the Scintists seemto refer to the galactic mater only .but all these galactic matter are floatin gin the space - a vacuum - the void -he nothng ness .the very fact that the space is void helps the gal;actic matter to move freely wiothout any hinderance and becuse space iosnothng , it has n boundary and limits .Everythig else beings "things " have boundaries .any thing ,if it is a thing should have boundary.Only somethikng tht isd not a thing can be without boundary. The scientists seem to thig that space curves . If space curves , it becomnes a thing and the space tha curves should be in somethkjng else.wha tis this space in then? and what is that that thing is then? whre will it end ? Only nohing will have no end .the scinetist do not seem to hav understood this character of spaceas yet .
But in Bhagavad -gits krsihna says that " I am a being of non-being. Tha is space in which everything else is and space is that sustains eveythg and wioth out space nothing coud exist . but the space needs nothing else to exis . That is that it does not require anything or it depends on anything for its existence ; but everythig in this universe needs space to exist in. It is nothing out there and that "nothing" is space .It alone is absolute and singular in character ..

No one exactly knows what is really out there except planets, dwarfs, suns, stars, nebulas, supernovas etc.
But recently according to a discovery made by european scientists, a planet has been found 20.5 lightyers away named GL 581c. It's orbit is of 13 earth days and has a pleasant temperature of 0-40 degree celcius but it's rotation is unknown. It's 5 times heavier than earth and it's sun is a red dwarf which is 50 times colder then our sun but this is stabilised because the planet is 14 times closer to it's sun.It is said that liquid water is possible on that planet but existance of life can be said as a 50% truth because the planet is said to be existing from billions of years.

Well, what do you think? What do you think, man? Did you just fall off the turnip truck on this issue? Scientifically, or logically?
You woke up and asked yourself, "What 'off-the-wall' direction do I want to go today?"
You don't want to have to READ about this stuff in text books or reference books, do ya? So, here's the "skinny" on "universe and stars," all scientific and logical.
There's lots of stuff out there, man. Lot's of stuff. And lots of nothing-ness out there, too, man. Lot's of emptiness.
And lots of stars out there, too, man. Lots and lots of stars.
Just keep telling yourself, "It takes all kinds to make a world." and you''ll be just fine.

I would if you asked your question logically, and if it made sense. But I think there are planets and stars out there.
