No...I can see why some women would. Personally, I would rather my husband didn't read to me at all unless I was unable to. Theres something kind of condescending about a husband reading the bible to his wife. As if he's preaching to her, or teaching her. Studying the bible together seems a little more like able.

Unfortunately I am not into the Bible not because I hate God or anything but it's just not my thing. But by all means I'm pretty sure if you had a lady that loved the bible she would probably think it was a sweet thing to do.

Sure, I would encourage him anytime he wants to read the Bible. But even more, I want my man to pray with me daily, that way he is not just reading the Bible, but obeying God's Word. By praying with me, especially for our children, he is showing me that he cares about the things that are important to me.

Not really; I can only handle the bible to a certain degree. It starts to freak me out.

I'm not trying to be anti-religious or chastise any religion, but... Why would they have to be read to? Are they themselves illiterate? I am a guy, but I read the bible and my girlfriend reads hers too – she does not need me to read to her like a child.
