The universe is always changing. The universe is growing because of dark matter. If it wasn't for dark matter many galaxies would have collided by now. The universe changes every day and humans can only hope to be able to learn 1% of the actual contents of the universe. We may never make it there.

Not counting the tons of cool stuff up there, i believe our ignorance of the universe is what makes it both mysterious and fascinating. We just don't know enough about what is actually up there and how it works. Maybe if we as a species were to quit fighting each other and work together to figure it out... we could discover so much more intrigue and wonder.

the universe is so vast--it encompasses everything we've ever known. it's an incredible thing. however, despite the universe's seemingly infinite complexity, it's governed by laws we have discovered (and will discover) over time. i believe that's what makes it mysterious (because some things remain unknown) yet fascinating (because we realize there is an order to it all).

What makes the universe so mysterious yet so fascinating is our minds, which finds thngs mysterious and fascinating. The universe is neither mysterious nor fascinating to, say, a worm.

Because it is all that there is and we are part of it. How can you not be fascinated when you read about black holes and stars that number more than the grains of sand on a beach.

Its neverending,Universe is expanding at every movement.
New species of animals nd aliens.Other earths etc make Universe facinating but Mystorious.

the fact that we dont even realize that it has no "human" boundaries, no one gets that the universe is so vast and that we are still in the "womb" metaphorically when it comes to astronomical intelligence.
