Nope! Not that brave. =)
I love color, but that would be a bit much. ☺

I in simple terms did this in my kinfolk room and the end result's great. I certainly have one considerable wall a astonishing teal/turquoise blue, the colour differences with how plenty mild is interior the room. the different 3 partitions are a dismal sand coloration with an undertone of gold, no longer everywhere close to brown yet no longer as mild as tan or beige. Our fire is an entire wall of river rock and that i'm utilising a great form of water lily baskets on the cabinets on the two fringe of it to tie in each and all the impartial colorations of the timber floor, the beige bucket chairs and our chocolate brown settee. The settee is alongside the teal wall. each and all the colours tie jointly incredibly properly. This room opens up into our kitchen which I did in a gentle yet no longer uninteresting yellow, returned, it has a reasonable gold undertone. It flows properly yet i does no longer prefer the yellow and turquoise next to a minimum of one yet another. in simple terms no longer my style. good luck alongside with your room!

I'm totaly brave enough, but I don't think I'd like it. Just one wall painted turquoise would look cool though!

I am thinking that would be a no. I have an olive green sofa and brick red lamps w/some cream accents. I know it sounds odd but looks amazing. The turquoise would not fit in.

My husband and kids were brave enough one time to paint a mural of a golf green (complete with flag) on the wall when we lived in an apartment. They made us Killz the wall when we moved out.

I like the color turquoise (once owned a car that color) although I found out a lot of other people don't like that color. Turquoise reminds me of the American Indian, so if my room was that color I'd have to match it with pictures of Indians, teepees and corn and hills and maybe a western motif like horses and saddles, and a bear rug.

Absolutely, Turquoise is a great starting point, lots of earthy colors work with it to accent! Of course then I'd have to buy some new furniture, but I was ready to do that anyway!

there are better things to be brave about besides paint color...
and painting my main room turquoise has nothing to do with weather or not i'm brave, and everything to do with weather or not i'm lazy... and i am, so it won't happen :-)

Yes, and the trim will be rich golden brown. Then I'll throw a golden mustard, pale sky blue, and creme striped rug on the hard wood floor, and place a pale sky blue couch and love seat 'round a brown leather ottoman with golden mustard wicker tray and creme colored candles all about.
