I'm not calling ANY team the team of the 00's. The NFL has destroyed that title with "Parity". Note who the team of the 90's is. The Cowboys. Note when they got that title - EARLY 90's. BEFORE the Salary Cap and Free Agency combined to destroy things in the way of a team of the decade. I'm all for the Salary Cap and Free Agency, you need both or neither, but I don't think there is a team of a decade anymore. Look at the Patriots. Look at all the changes among players. If you want to call Tom Brady PLAYER of the decade MAYBE but can't say since he was there all decade they are team of the decade. What next call the Colts team of the decade for making the playoffs, and we will have Manning fans that will call them that for him. Every team of the decade had more then one name player that was there most of the decade that everyone knows, even non-football fans. Tell me at least 3 players that people know of the Patriots that were there ALL decade or even most of it.

Of course not. Unlike the Rams, the Patriots WON all the SBs they went to in this decade, including the win OVER the Rams. Plus, the Rams, have only been to ONE SB in this decade (again losing to the Patriots). Just because you reach the SB many times doesn't declare you the team of the decade. Just ask the Buffalo Bills. How is it that they go to the SB four years straight and the team they lost to the last two times was chosen to be "America's Team"? So even if they go to the SB (which is highly unlikely), they won't even come close to overtaking the Patriots.

No...For one thing, the Pats first Super Bowl was against the Rams...so, they win...and because the Rams are not team oriented like the Pats are...The Pats are the best team in the NFL...

Only if they could win them. Because the Pats won 3 not just 1. The Pats also beat the Rams to get one of them.

It really depends. Do the pats get any more superbowls or not? even if they don't they probable wouldn't be called the team of the 00's but maybe the runner up.

Yes because the rams were the "greatest show on turf" and if they some how made it this year and next year you'd have to put them past the Pats who got lucky against the raiders on a Bad call.

Probably not. They do not have the big name players like the Patriots do, and besides they would have to get by the Seahawks to do that, and that just AIN'T happening!!!!!!!
