Nothing darker and heavier than "666 The Number of the Beast" by Iron Maiden. When I was in high school I was listening to this song in my room and the next thing I know my mom was smashing my Iron Maiden record while my dad checking my eyes out to make sure if I'm baked or not. It was ******* funny as hell. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about "Angel of Death" by Slayer > Demonic, heavy and sick man!

Well, I'm a little old and outdated, but I'll guess just about anything by Black Sabbath (or Ozzy) would still rate right up there with any metal that's being cranked out today as "dark".

I couldnt tell you the name, heck I couldnt tell you any of the words in the song because it was just screeching and loud guitar music. It was by a group called Lamb of God. I am guessing they are NOTa Christian group! Made my teeth rattle.
