I moved from SA to London 2 years ago and have really tried hard to adjust.
Is it normal? How long does it take?

Hello Well as a person who has lived outside of my home country for many years I can say that it is quite normal to have a difficult time adjusting. Some things you may never become accustom to. When you deal with a different culture it is just difficult. Little things that go unnoticed until you really think about them will drain energy from you without you knowing it.

Try to do your best to be yourself and enjoy the differences of living in another culture. You don't have to become like the ones you live among simply appreciate their customs and it will be easier on yourself.

I hope you enjoy your time in London. Mitch

It's a big jump from SA to London, so it could take another 2 years. But some people just don't do well in cities.
