does the sky ever end i mean think about is it possible for it to just go on and on like that forever its got to stop somewhere i mean at first they didnt think that the earth ever ended but it does so wat do you think

Actually, the "sky" never started, because it is just an optical illusion created by the refraction of light off of water.

Hmmm, the sky? You mean the "blue sky" right? It does stop when you have reached the outer space. What you will see after that is a "black sky" (or just like the evening sky) with full of stars. In fact there is no "sky" defined by humans. It is just the outer space we look at through the earth's atmosphere!

Our atmosphere ends about 100 miles above the earth's surface, from there space goes to the end of the universe, from there the void goes on forever.

The edge of the universe is so far away we will never know . When u talk about 1 million light years .

i used to wonder this as a kid, will the trees and algae be able to supply enough oxygen forever?

I don't know the answer but it will be an interesting way for nature to kill us off if we continue destroying and polluting in the way that we do.

the blue color is created by the earth's atmosphere. when you're at an altitude of several hundred km you'll see a black "sky".

it stops when you reach outer space but i think it is called black sky so i guess it really never ends.
