A double standard about Immigration?

Is it a double standard to say that it was wrong for the white people to come to America and use the Indians' land but then say it is ok for illegal immigrants to come into our country because whites did it. It is like saying because the whites did a bad thing means that it is ok for anyone to do it.

Immigration is not the problem.
What is it about "illegal" though, that people don't get?
Breaking the law hurts everybody sooner or later.
When it comes time to pay the piper, everyone will get hit again.

But the double standard still exists between our northern and southern boarders. Canadians are heavily scrutinized when coming here. Why is our southern boarder a special case in which we can afford to look the other way?

It wasn't wrong for the whites to come to this land and take it from the Natives. Because this has been happening through out history. What, Roman empire, French empire, England Colonies across the world. The Spanish, Italians, French, English, did in Mexico. It's part of history.Should we give everyone special treatment because we took over Their land. The U.S. still is doing it. They help out and then take land to set up military bases. Yet everyone forgets about all that. But immigrants are not coming to Conquer this country. They are coming over for the same reason the whites came, the same reason anyone wants to come to this country. They come for a better life. And people always tend to forget that.

And if you try to do it legally. Years may go by and you still have a very good chance of not getting in

we know more than we did then.
not only that but it is a dangerous world.

i feel that we should help other couhtries like mexico. they are trying to get out of their country for a reason! obviously something is wrong with the country
