I have layers, but I really want them to curve like what you would see in the magazines.
My layers right now are like everywhere. They go like outwards and sometimes they just go their seperate ways!

Any suggestions?

What are you talking about?

The linear development of Görtler vortices in a curved compressible mixing layer is studied. It has been shown both experimentally and theoretically that the curved mixing layer can support a centrifugal mode, which is believed to be similar to the Görtler vortex mode. This study follows the corresponding incompressible study of Otto, Jackson, and Hu, and attempts to demonstrate the effects compressibility has on the growth of such modes [J. Fluid Mech. 315, 85 (1996)]. The ultimate downstream fate of the modes is studied in the high Taylor/Görtler number regime. The problem of the third boundary condition inherent to the mixing layer model is addressed using the set of boundary conditions for both subsonic and supersonic flows derived by Ting [J. Math. Phys. 28, 153 (1959)]. A class of modes is discussed that have no counterpart in the uniform temperature incompressible case. ©1997 American Institute of Physics.

My guess is that you are confused with the way curved space is explained. I too, am confused with this explanation of a bowling ball suspended by a sheet and the depression made in the sheet is like the curvature of space caused by a mass. To me this a two dimensional description and it falls far short of it's intent, I can relate to this analogy explaining why an object passing close to earth may be influenced to follow this curvature but if does not explain why items fall to the surface ot the earth.

I don't know what kind of medication you're on, but I would suggest you double the dose.

It sounds more like you're talking about your hair and what's fashionable right now.

By the way, Good Answer, Dan E. Nikki went back to her hairstylist to see if she could put your info to good use. A-number one!
