Al Davis isnt the problem, he is the greatest owner/gm to ever be in charge of an NFL team, he created the raiders, he made them an enimic team that has so much history and so many people love to hate, the NFL hates AL and the Raiders, they are the NY Yankees of the NFL, they have the best fans and the most passonate ones too. They will have winnign seasons again soon, 4 years ago we were in the super bowl, the year before that we should have been but got screwed by the ref on a bad fumble that was reviewed and then overturned. He has gotten the team goin in a new direction, they lacked leadership at the coaching position for awhile but have solidified that with an offensive mastermind in Lane Kiffin, They had the third best defense in the NFL last year and thye wil lcontinue to improve on that, if the offense was even half way decent they would have been a a 6-10 - 9-7 team last year.

The Cowboys used to have summer camp here in Austin in August when it's 100 degrees plus every day. The Raiders would come to town for a couple of days for scrimmages, etc. BUT Mr. Davis Super-Freak would still go around always wearing his full warm up suit. This was years ago, and they've had good seasons since, so maybe he'll get even freakier and they'll win more.

Al Davis lives and breaths football. The minute he steps down from the team he will die. The Raiders are his passion and without that he is done. I am a Raider fan and respect what Al has done in the past, but unfortunately he has kept them from hiring a top tier coach since Gruden left. No one wants to work under him. He still has a great football IQ, for an old GM, but he wants control and will not allow a coach to fully run the team without interference. Simply put, "No." The Raiders are still 3-4 years away from having a winning season...

What’s funny is, we always look at the Raiders as such losers, and yet we forget that they were just in the super bowl 4 years ago. They got spanked by the Bucks, 48-21, but they still had a great season that year.

properly, Javon Walker and Daunte Culpepper sucked till now they have been given to Oakland simply by fact of their injuries and ****. Kerry Collins is previous and it wasn't incredibly planned for him to be the starter. DeAngelo hall is puffed up and Randy Moss in simple terms gave up. So till Al Davis leaves or stops bringing in a lot of those shitty *** gamers, then the Raiders won't have yet another triumphing season.

No, he will either never die or run the team from his grave.
