screws up your order big time? I didn't even special order it, who why the f*ck are there mushrooms all over this?

i get mad too, they always say over and over to have it your way! and even at nice sit-down restruants i get so mad.

Are you talking about food? If so... then I think you should relax guy. At first, when reading your question, I assumed you meant an order like a special order (or regular order) of something in the sense of a large purchase or something you bought and had delivered in the mail. In this circumstance, then yes, I too would have agreed with you and also been a bit peeved if they messed up your order – especially because the waiting time for delivery orders like this are like 2-5 weeks or sometimes more. However, if you are talking about a food order like a burger or a pizza, then why are you so made? That took what… 30 minutes to an hour max to get?
I think you might be slightly overreacting here dude. I am sure the people you ordered your food from did not have a sinister plan to *purposefully* put mushrooms on your food in an evil attempt at some dastardly deed. It was probably just a simple mistake. If it has happened before, then they are just incompetent and I would not give them my business anymore. Yet still, in either case, it is certainly not something to be stressed out over.

I just calmly tell the waiter/ waitress that this is NOT what I ordered, explain what is wrong, and ask them to fix it. I have never had a problem anywhere getting my order fixed. If you make a scene, it draws attention to yourself and most of the time, people think your the jerk for overreacting. Plus, it lessens the chance that someone in the kitchen may spit on your remade order.

I tell them that it is not what I ordered and send it back. I rarely get made at the waitress or waiter since they rarely cook it, they just serve it. If it is a really bad screw up I make a bit more of an issue about it and most of the time you get it free.

For me??? I do not screw w/food orders. I have heard too many horror stories about the cook spitting or worse in the returned food. I would pick them off.

I hate when that happens. If it's not too bad, I fix it at the table. Otherwise, I send it back. I just never trust someone to return with something they haven't "modified." Have you seen the movie Waiting? Yuck. The things people do.

you know i am a family of five and when we get takeout I'm the only one that gets their order messed up and im serious every single time my family thinks its funny but sometimes i just want to come unglued i must be jinxed

I swear to myself for a few minutes and swing back to the drivethrough to be rude to those dumb a**es so I can get some food that I can actually eat!

I try to be calm if I still want to dine there... after all they are in charge of my food. I don't want them putting anything disgusting in it as revenge for rude behavior.
