I am trying to think of boy names that begin with D that are not ordinary like David or Donald, but I don't want anything too over the top. I have one son now named Dylan. I'd rather not have to have a D name, but my husband is very stuck on naming all of our boys with D names because it is a tradition in his family that his father started. Any ideas?

If you do a search for "baby names" you can find a lot of websites that have lists of baby names - for boys and girls - in alphabetical order. Some even give you the meanings of names. I think that would be your best bet in finding a boy "d" name that you would and your husband would like.
