I need to reload the software, but have lost the disk. The card is a D-Link DWL-650. The company provides the drivers, but no software because it's an older card. Any suggestions?

The only software that you should need for a WiFi card IS the driver. Download it from the D-Link site and update the driver and the card should work.

I don't know what other software it may have come with, but it is probably not needed to make the card work - just get the driver from on-line and you should be set.

Good luck!

I don't have a definate answer for you but here are some suggestions.

Contact D-Link tech support, maybe they can get you a copy of the software.

If you have the software name do a search for it on google or yahoo or download.com.

Since you have the drivers for the card, you can see if some free software from a third party can replace the software that you lost. (for this again check on download.com)

If all else fails maybe it is time for a new card or laptop.

Hope this helps you. Good luck in your search.
