The Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, Pistons, Knicks and Trailblazers have all had the same team logos for a while now! (Although they do have alt jerseys)! Is it time for a change?

Got to keep the classics, bro

But the blazers logo must go! I can't believe they haven't changed it yet. BTW, the spurs just changed their logo about 5 years ago. It used to have southwestern-style colorings.

go spurs go!

The Blazers tried to come up with a new logo back when Paul Allen first bought the team years ago. However, they found out what many already understood. That is, the logo of a team is closely identified with and by the community that the team is a part of. Once a team develops into a contender and builds a following, it's neither desirable nor practical to dispense with tradition and change a logo for the sake of change.

The "Jail-Blazers" era logo you refer to was also used (albeit in it's original upright form) from the team's inception -- including the franchise's world championship in 1977 and the finals teams of 1990 and 1992. The play on the floor (translated into wins) and players of good character will do much more to rid the image of past problems more than a cosmetic logo change.

Changing logos only serves those in marketing -- selling replica jerseys and other stuff with the logo on it. It has nothing to do with the success of the team of the floor. Just ask the Memphis Grizzlies.

All of the teams you have mentioned in your question do have histories of success in the league and their logos are closely identified with that success.

I am a huge Pistons fan, and I would like to see them change. Their old jersey is the most generic and dull jersey in professional sports. It looks like a cheap clip art with their name on it. The alternate jersey with the horse didn't do anything for me, either, so I hope they can cook up something better soon. Don't see it happening, but that's what I would like. As far as the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, and Knicks... they all have WAY too much history behind their uniforms to mess with them. Spurs and Trailblazer? I'm not too sure about them.

I think all those jerseys/logos are fine. Bulls, Lakers, Celtics Knicks are classics.

I have never understood what the Blazers logo means.

This does not address your question but I do think Minnesota, Golden State, Charlotte and New Orleans need a change.

The current Utah, Memphis, Miami, Orlando and Indianapolis uniforms will become classics.

Utah does need a logo and name change.

Dallas needs an immediate change! None of their uniforms complement their players esp. the Pdiddy variations. They are simply awful.

Just awful.

Trailblazers most definately, with the Big man Oden coming in why not start a whole new franchise starting with the jersey! The other teams on your list are all historical teams who have won many championships, they should stay for good.

What is up with all this powder blue from the Nuggets and the Jazz?!

Is it a Rocky Mountain thing?

I think the 76ers, Jazz, Knicks, Nuggets, Wizards all need serious upgrades.

Oh, the Clippers need a new everything (especially uniforms)!

Pistons have ugly uniforms, need changed, same with knicks and trail blazers. but the one that needs changed the most is Denvers powder blue uniforms, they are the ugliest in the league.

Trailblazers, no doubt. We need something new and fresh to go with our fresh new outlook.. and separate ourselves from the 'Jail-Blazers' mentallity. Here's hoping that Zach and Darius never get a chance to wear them...

I really like the Clippers. Even though they have cool jerseys i would like to see them change up. I have a really cool orange Livingston Buffalo throwback jersey froma retro game i went to. It would be cool if they had more retro games.
