It's 10m plus 5cm for waste. Assume 4 drops from each roll of patterned paper; this is a lot of waste I know, but patterns rarely line up with eachother well! Obviously for a plain paper like lining paper you will have little waste.

Get your wife off her backside and make her do the decorating, Why did you marry her in the first place if it wasn't to take on these small jobs after finishing her cooking, washing and cleaning. Or if you have one, granny's are good at this sort of work but drink a lot of tea as they go.
