Oh...many of times...hurts like hell,I use to get them on nights after I played a ball game.It would wake me out of a dead sleep in sheer pain... and some of the answerer's here gave one of the reasons why...I wasn't drinking enough water...I now take two bottles of water with me to every game plus I drink more during the course of the day...so far so good...

Oh my goodness yes...I used to have the worst leg cramps, and they would always come at night. What a way to wake up!

Not anymore. You probably need to drink more water. And if someone is with you when you get one they need to push their elbow right into it. It'll hurt A LOT but break it down and it'll go away. I've done it several times to my friends and it does work
