I was watching a show on that, and there are places that you can rent furniture for that sort of thing. Real Estate agents will tell you that it is better to have some furniture in the home....to give home buyers an idea of the size of a space....it is hard to really know the size of a room if it is completely bare. I would go with neutral blinds....and I wouldn't go expensive on them either. Odds are the buyer will change them anyway.

The most important things to do when flipping a house are; new carpets (no matter how new they are) and new white paint. Decorations, no matter how simple will limit how many people like the house. People want to see a sturdy and well maintained canvas that they can decorate themselves.

'Staging' a home will always improve your chances of selling, empty homes are just that.

Make sure what ever you use is tasteful and conservative both in paint/finishing and furniture.

Sometimes you can approach a furniture vendor and suggest that you will 'show' their products in your listing. and you will allow them to advertise. they will have you pay a deposit in case of damage or loss and you will have to get it delivered to and from you listing.

Leave it alone...if you have restored it well it will speak for itself. You may actually drive away buyers by decorating as everyone has their own tastes.
