Hi,
Many girls will have lost their "cherry," that is, their hymen - a covering in the vagina, before they have sex. Yes, tampons, horseback riding, many many things can cause it to break. In my college textbook, it recommended that virgins stretch their hymen (if they still had one) so that sex would not be as painful the first time. (LOL - college education)
No, it does not make a popping sound. The "pop the cherry" reference is a crude and non-sensible colloquial reference.
If it is intact, the hymen will bleed when broken. No, there does not have to be blood if the hymen has already been damaged or broken by some other means. At some point, at least as I understand it, a girl will experience some blood from a broken hymen. My best friend said that she broke hers at 12 years old running track - she starting bleeding and didn't know why. The gyne told her.
I've only been involved with one "cherry" and the whole situation was probably as uncomfortable for me as it was for her. Unexpected blood during intimacy is unnerving.

There is no sound when "popping" a cherry...its a rude expression for the tearing of the hymen, which is a thin ring of flesh that surrounds the entrance to vagina (rather similar to the skin between thumb and forefinger, only more delicate).
When it tears, there usually is some blood. It can be torn long before a woman ever has sex; it can happen by a hard fall on one's butt, horseback riding, and the insertion of foreign objects into the vagina (tampons, etc).

Most girls are born with a hymen the pupose of the hymen is to protect a young girl from the sperm that might be present in the birth canal prior to birth there have been some instances of baby girls ovulating during the birthing process as a result of the hormones from the mother. I have not read or seen any such cases in the past years.
As stated before by others a female is a virgin until she has had a penis enter her vagina no matter how much or little enters
No there doesnt have to be any blood when the hymen is torn most are born with one but can tear it at any time in their young life

It isn't a sound or anything. Your hymen, or cherry, is just a flap of skin in your vaginal opening. This can be broken just by doing sports like horse back riding, soccer, and basically impacting sports.
But you won't know if it is broken or not. It's not like it's a balloon or something.

there's no sound. it's just ripped a little to let the penis enter.
it can be ripped when you're a child by play, sports, horseback riding, etc.
Most women have it ripped long before sex but unless a penis enters your vagina you're still a virgin.
