"Henin married Pierre-Yves Hardenne on November 16, 2002, in the Château de Lavaux-Sainte-Anne.[3][4] She used the name Justine Henin-Hardenne on the tennis court from January 2003 through December 2006. However, on January 4, 2007, just after withdrawing from upcoming tournaments in Australia, including the Australian Open, various news agencies reported that she intended to divorce her husband and assume her maiden name, "Justine Henin." No one knows for sure when she changed her name to her maiden name. Newspapers in Australia reported that she was having family issues when she withdrew from Australia open early in the year (1/6/07). She reported on her website on 1/24/07 that she was separated from her husband.
She must have changed her name back to her maiden name between these two dates.
I think she did not want to make a public fuss about the whole deal because she most likely would want her family live to be private and also since there might be a chance for reconcilation in the marriage.

She announced her divorce in January 07 and returned it back to just "Henin".

she was henin before she got married
she isnt divorced, but she is seperated from her husband, and dropped his name

Well she is seperating from her husband. She changed it sometime this early this year, that's why she had to miss the Australian Open.
