Nothing. Roosevelt did not get the US out of the depression, despite today's democrats regaling him in honor. The fact is that everything that FDR did was ineffective in overcoming the Depression, what finally worked was Pearl Harbor.

He was the one who invented Social Security, to make sure that you are insured when you retire. He created jobs, for example "The projects" a residence for many underpaid and on welfare were built during the Roosevelt days. He also secured America's status abroad.

this is a guess. Didn't he create taxes or was that after the second world war.
He started social services.
