Victor is off looking for his son Victor Jr. Nikki is not happy that Victor is gone, especially as they just found the wreckage of the Newman jet and everyone beliefs Nick to be dead. Nikki (and others) can't help but wonder why Victor is not there in their time of crisis. Nikki is also pissed that Victor is not there to support her campaign. In real life Eric Bradden is on vacation.

Victor left the show for I think 5 weeks or something like that to go make another movie. On the show though he went to go find his other son Victor Jr. from his ex wife.

Last I heard, Victor left to go find his son, Victor. Jr. Victor's portrayer, Eric Braeden, will be away from the show for five months shooting a big screen movie project.

Victor is on a vacation or doing an acting job in real life.
In the show, he is off somewhere looking for Victor Jr, his son with Hope...the one he was with that is blind!

He's off in search for his long lost son, (which is code for having plastic surgery procedures...)
He looks good though, the man is in his late 60's, so if he wants to get a nip or a tuck, who am I to question...
