how is jared zabransky gonna be on the cover even when he wasn't drafted to the nfl

Some have touted the 2007 Fiesta Bowl as "the greatest college football game ever", and Zabransky won the Fiesta Bowl Offensive Player of the Game award for his heroics that tied the game & sent it to overtime.
There's no question Zabransky had a very good season last year. Whether or not he has a real shot at a good career in the NFL, the game is "NCAA '08" & Zabransky had a good NCAA career.
That said, I would have put Troy Smith on the cover (but the loss to Florida probably eliminated that option.)

he is an undrafted free agent so he can do wutever he wants now. sucks he didnt get drafted i thought he was a pretty good QB
im guessin no one else wanted to do it and zabransky, especially after the crazy plays he pulled off in the Boise State bowl win, got some publicity
its NCAA 08. who cares if hes on the cover or not

Wow! I didn't know he got on the cover, that's embarassing. I thought it was going to be Calvin Johnson, Brady Quinn, or Troy Smith. But of course, if they didnt get drafted, it doesnt really matter. They put on who did the best in college, but one things for sure, it wasnt him

cuz it's called NCAA '08---not NFL '08...the guy was great in college, what's the problem?

Are you sure? I saw a mock up with Earl Everett sacking Troy Smith without his helmet on.. Hmm they must have changed it, I like the old one better. :)
