There's reebars and a set of maybe 3 other bars right on Broadway just south of Loop 410. If you come on the first friday of the month, I would go to Southtown. It's really more a local thing, but it's bands and food booths and lots of fun located just south of downtown on Alamo and St. Mary's St. all the way up the King William district. Loads of fun, no cover! And July is art month, so it is bound to be a crowd pleaser. And, be sure to get a bite at Tito's...great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Of course Rosario's is across the street and you may even catch a glimpse of a celebrity like tommy lee jones or sandra bullock, but it's noisy and pricy. Go to the Blue Star Arts Brewry and have some of their microbrew. It's a good time. One catch though, things really start closing down about midnight because of city ordinances as it is a residential area, and then you can go to Bonhams which is just on the other side of the Alamo. The river is also pretty pricy. If you like country there's a great place on the corner of loop 410 and I35.

Graham Central Station with six full bars at your service all interconnected, one cover charge and free parking. Whether you crave the karaoke mic or want to boogie down to some salsa and merengue, there is definitely a club with your name on it. look for the retro discotheque (Bell Bottoms), the international room (Vertigo), Top 40 dance hall (South Beach), country (Denim and Diamonds), and karaoke lounge (Alley Cats). The T-2002 club is also a big crowd magnet because it features regional Tejano favorites on weekends. Crowds are as diverse as the clubs within this enormous party palace. Weekly specials like college night, ladies night, insure the already varied swarm of partygoers that make their way to this downtown location.
***** last resort, Howl at the moon, Durty Nelly's are all on the river walk
Arjons for latin music or Martini's great show all type of music are out by the airport.

San Antonio is a great city!
There are different touristy bars along the river, like Dick's last resort, but also Polyesthers is a blast.

See if Bonham Ballroom is still around. It's a club/bar, not like an actual ballroom. Fun place.
