"Little Lamb" from 'Gypsy'
"Finer Things" from 'Jane Eyre'
"It Might Has Well Be Spring" from 'State Fair'
"Something Wonderful" from 'The King and I'
"If I Were a Bell" from 'Guys and Dolls'
"As Long as He Needs Me" from 'Oliver'
"Follow Your Heart" from 'Urinetown'
"I Feel Pretty" from 'West Side Story'
"I Whistle a Happy Tune" from 'The King and I'
"My Lord and Master" from 'The King and I'
"How Lovely to be a Woman" from 'Bye Bye Birdie'
"One Boy" from 'Bye Bye Birdie'
"I Want to Be Happy" from 'No No Nanette'
"Tea for Two" from 'No No Nanette'
If I knew what show you were going for I'd be able to narrow things down a bit. If you don't mind, I have a few suggestions of songs to STAY AWAY from when choosing audition material. By avoiding over-used songs, you increase your chances of a role.
SHOWS TO AVOID
Wicked
The Sound of Music
A Chorus Line
Rent
My Fair Lady
Footloose
Grease
Little Shop of Horrors
The Fantastiks
Les Miserables
Phantom of the Opera
Evita
OVERDONE SONGS
Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray
On My Own from Les Miserables
Adelaide's Lament from Guys and Dolls (why are teenagers always singing this? the character has been engaged for 14 years!)
Memory from Cats
I Hate Men from Kiss Me Kate
All That Jazz from Chicago
Wash That Man... from South Pacific
Can't Help Lovin'... from Show Boat
Big Spender from Sweet Charity
You Can Always... from City of Angels
Shy from Once Upon a Mattress
Tomorrow from Annie
I Enjoy Being A Girl from Flower Drum Song
Broadway Baby, Hard Hearted Hannah, Hit Me With a Hot Note from Follies
Surrey With The Fringe On Top & I Can't Say No from Oklahoma
They Call the Wind Mariah from Paint Your Wagon
Corner of the Sky from Pippin
Summertime from Porgy & Bess
The Music of the Night from The Phantom of the Opera
Hero & Let's Hear It For The Boy from Footloose
Seasons of Love from Rent
Big Spender from Sweet Charity
Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid
In My Own Little Corner from Cinderella
Popular from Wicked
Anthem from Chess
This Is The Moment from Jekyll & Hyde
Also avoid any signature songs such as "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" from 'The Wizard of Oz'. If people are so used to hearing a professional sing a song, they'll compare you to someone else instead of listening to you.
Break a leg with your auditions!!!

Have you ever seen Bye Bye Birdie? I'll bet How Lovely To Be A Woman would work great for you! Kim is 15, it's not a belty song. She's a tomboy who thinks she's becoming a woman now (but she's still just a kid) :-) Also check out anything Sandy sings in Grease, not very belty either and even though it's well known, not very over done anymore.
Some songs are famously sung 'belty' but you can make them your own and a director make like them with a softer sound, you never know. Just make your own strong character choices and if the director makes a suggestion, go with it! I also like I'm Calm or or That'll Show Him from A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum. There's also Goodnight My Someone from Music Man. Not my favorite, but definitely soprano and not belty.
Check out the following characters and what they sing in their shows:
Wendy - Peter Pan
Joanna - Sweeney Todd
Tuptim - The King & I
Nanette - No, No, Nanette
Young Sally - Follies
Julie Jordan - Carousel
Luisa - Fantasticks
That should get you started, but of course there are so many choices out there!
Good luck!

RE:
Any Ideas? Musical Theater Audition Songs...?
I need a couple new audition songs .
I am a soprano, do not belt (yet!). I am blonde and blue eyed. I usually play the princess type character. Character acting isnt my strong point but Im not bad either..Just not exceptional. I am 15. I would like age appropriate songs. I am willing to do duets...

No Hairspray, Wicked, High School Musical, or any other well known musical. Trust me you do not want to be the fifth person the directors hear sing "Popular". Try "Johnny One Note" from "Babes in Arms" or "Born to Entertain" from "Flower Drum Song". If all else fails there is the classic "I Enjoy Being a Girl" from "Flower Drum Song" also. Disney songs are good. They're classic and everyone knows them. "Belle's Lament" is only about a minute if the audition is timed. Whatever you do make sure you know your song and you're prepared. That will impress the directors more than you singing a song that they haven't heard but you forgot the words. Break a leg!

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://biturl.im/aU0xz
Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.
Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.

try to avoid shows like wicked. because of their recent-ness and huge popularity, tons of people will be using those songs and directors will grow tired and annoyed by them super fast.
one of my favorite audition songs is Shy from Once Upon A Mattress. Its a great character song with a lot of dynamics. Try to find the version done by Sarah Jessica Parker (yes, sex and the city girl did musicals).
some other great songs are If You Hadnt But You Did from Two on the Isle, (the Kristin Chenowith version of that is really good) and Not For The Life of Me from Thoroughly Modern Millie.
the best thing to do is to pick a song that is similar in sound to the musical that you are auditioning for. for example, dont audition for Hairspray with a song from Phantom of the Opera.
good luck!
