I am a man who enjoys wearing shoes. I have found that some womens shoes appeal to me (i.e. keds, mary janes, some flat sandals). Why is it acceptable for a women to wear a shoe originally designed for men(chuck taylors, most nike, addidas styles designed originally for men but with colors such as pinks and purples) but men who wear womens keds or a pair of mary janes like the keens or a flat strappy sandal that were made strictly for women. I enjoy shoes and like to be different by wearing some womens styles of shoes. Such as i suspect women did with mens shoes in the 70's or 80's, whenever it was that alot of the mens style of shoes started being made for women.

I think that you should wear women's shoes if you like them. Personally i think it is hot when any guy wears anything women's clothing or make up...call me weird but i like it and there is absolutly nothing wrong with it..if someone were to say something about your shoes, chances are that they have NO CLUE what they are talking about....so go out at buy some cute new shoes!

I think it is because it is still acceptable for a woman to be more dressed down/more masculine in their clothing choices, but it is not however always accepted when a man chooses to wear something a little more feminine or anything that has been labeled as "for a girl." Some choices of womens shoes might be ok for you to wear, the Keds for example, but other may not be very accepted.

women's shoes are awkward full stop. what man in his right mind would like to walk around on tip toe and build up a dangerous bunion in the process? Women sacrifice comfort for fashion. Men stick with the simple and practical.
a pair of stilettos was advertised to last 100years .You would be lucky
if you last ten years in that clap trap of a shoe without breaking your foot.

Nothing says you can't wear them. Just be prepared for comments from some people who just don't have a clue! Men just don't have the selection that women have in shoes!!

Men can wear women shoes. There isnt a law forbidding it, so go ahead. I see transvestites, crossdressers, gay guys wearing girl shoes all the time. Believe me, its not a big deal

because a girl wont be called gay if she wears mans shoes and if a man wears woman shoes he will be called gay and every 1 will stare at him outside.
