Very far, because he's an elite QB. That was his first starting season, and why are we hailing VY or Mick Vick if they haven't been to Superbowls ( Vince I can understand, but Vick, I don't). Plus, Peyton Manning just won his first and Carson Palmer ( who everybody thinks is better than Drew Brees) hasn't even got past the wild card. So why does everybody critize Rex? Yea he had the best defense but like I said, that was his first season and before this season he only played like 4-6 regular season games ( thanks to injury, but he's over that). Now, I am not going to say he's bad yet, but he has to be more consistant because he just lost his RB and he's in his final year of his contract.

Oh yea, by the way,

GO BEARS!!

Rex was obviously a trainwreck in the superbowl but as one of the last grossman fans i believe tht he can come back and change that. hes been working hard and he just recieved an award so that should give him motivation. He's been working very hard on everything he couldnt nail before. Hes actually doing alot better. Also the pervious years he didnt see alot of game time and that was definatly a factor on chicago losing. when you put a qb that was almost no experience on the field to a legend then obviously whose gonna win? now that hes seen a lot of gametime and he is strating again he will surely do alot better then last year.

Grossman will take the bears to Superbowl and this time will be champions!

they're approximately an comparable as QBs bypass. it is not as though Brian Griese is taking them shrink back to the superbowl. that's some thing that Rex Grossman DID do. The Bears desire a quarterback...undesirable. Is Kyle Orton the respond? Time will tell. i incredibly think of its the education, now no longer the sport enthusiasts. Plus, a persevering with working activity ought to assist. This in elementary terms isn't the year for the Bears. enable Orton have his danger, if he's waiting. Or commerce, sign a loose agent, or draft a sparkling QB and RB contained interior the off-season.

Well we already know that he can take them to the Super Bowl. But I don't think he will be able to do that again. Defense is the key in football and the Bears proved that last year. Rex Grossman isnt that good of a quarterback. I think since they are winning so many games, they will keep him for next year. I think Rex Grossman can get them as far as the playoffs, but I don't think they will make the super bowl again.

No where the Defense and the running game are what carry the bears. Grossman started out ok then did shitty when it counted last season. Somehow they still made a superbowl appearance and i'll tell you why... the defense and the running game. Not mention devin hester's amazing return skills and the defense scoring TD's. I predict that grossman will have another dismal year hes terrible.

If he learns how to balance his aggressiveness with "patient" passing (i.e. taking what the defense gives him), he probably could take them to the Super Bowl (provided the Saints and Cowboys don't de-claw the Bears first). Their defense is so good (provided Lance Briggs is still with them this season) that Rex can just manage the game and still go deep into the playoffs (remember the Ravens of 2000 and the Bucs of 2002?.....no offense, w/average, manage-the-game type QBs, but all defense won them the Super Bowl, respectively).

It "can" be done....but I don't think it will be.

i think the answer is actually a different question and it is how far can the bears take rex grossman, and we saw the answer last season, i dont think they can ever wiin with him at QB, hes probably one of the 3 worst starting qbs in the league

You saw how far Grossman can take them last year. Also you will not see it again until they get a better QB. This year the run game is not as good as last year and wins will lay on his shoulder I just don't see it.

They are just like the Ravens were. Great defense, solid running game (if they can replace Thomas Jones), and tell the QB just dont turn it over.

If he can avoid the stupid mistakes the defense will carry him back to the Superbowl.
