About base in space?

One i so in a magazine idea about a elivator, was it all the way down to the earth ground because it didnt mention it just said 36,000 km long elivator all the way to the base?
So my idea has nearly the same way but insted fishing system
that will click to the flying machine and pull it up?
It is just a theory?

Will every room of the space turist will be like a bee hibe house?
So it will not damage the other room if its a small meteor hits one of the room?

Or just simply make a large silenzer canon and shoot the person in a capsul out in space?

Just a theory. We don't have the matrials to build it yet
