Use the distance formula:

Distance between two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) on the Cartesian Plane is:

Square root of [(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2]

Here,
x1 = 3
x2 = 2
y1 = 3
y2 = 1

Distance between (3, 3) and (2, 1) is:
sqrt [(2 - 3)^2 + (1 - 3)^2]
= sqrt (1 + 4)
= sqrt 5

Answer (D) sqrt 5

the distance = sqrt[ ( 3-2)^2 + ( 3 -1 )^2 ]
= sqrt[ 1 + 4 ] = sqrt( 5 )
= D
