I just started YAZ and am really hormonal. How long should I wait for it to wear off before I try a new pill?

I just started YAZ and am really hormonal. How long should I wait for it to wear off before I try a new pill?
...any suggestions for pills with low side effects of that kind?

Use it for several months, I would say at least 4 months before switching. Talk about it with your doctor. Birth control is hormones so no matter which pill you are on, you will be "hormonal".

I have never taken Yaz, but in my experience the side effects from the pill usually subside in a week or two.
If the side effects last more than a couple of weeks or are more severe than would be considered normal and are causing distress then I would suggest that you call your doctor.

They could last till way after you get off of the pill.

I am on Kariva.

on it for over a year, NO side affects!

you dont have to stop and wait...you can change your pill anytime you want.....just ask for the same measurments of the hormone.
