Hello, I have been married for 2 years and my husband and I said that right after our two year anniversary we could start trying to have babies. What he doesn't know is that I got off my birth control about 6 months ago.....in hopes that we might just get surprised a little early. Sometimes he doesn't pull outand sometimes he does...but we never use protection. It has been the start of the 7th month off birth control and nothing has happened. I have even had sex on the most fertile day of my month in the middle of the time when I'm ovulating and still I get my period every month. i'm worried that we will have trouble and he will be stressed that we won't be able to have babies as quick as the rest of his family who all thier children either quick or had them by surprise. He thinks that he has his family's "super sperm" but I'm starting to think we may not be compatible together to make children. Can you offer me any words of advice? Thanks for your help.

Hi,

My husband and I tried for several years to get pregnant. We used the ovualtion test kits. I drank lots of green tea, read that green tea helps, I cut out all caffine, alcohol, everything we could think of. He began wearing boxers. Finally after we gave up, I conceived! It took us about 1 year to concieve our second child. I wish you lots of luck. There are fertilitly websites that offer really good advice. I hope this helps.

Hi, try going to your Droctor, me and my fiance has been together for 1 year and 3 months, we've been trying to conceive from last year August after I drop the Birth control Pill Yasmin, I had and appointment yesterday and visit the Gynocologist and said I Have PCOS, my fiance' wants a baby badly justl ike yours he think his sperm is a strong swimmer, now am frustrated because I think he'll leave me because he really want this child, but just keep your fingers cross and prayer to the Lord. PCOS is when you have some small cyst on the ovary, it doesn't means you wouldn't be able to conceive but it would be hard for you to time when you'll be ovulating because of and irregular period. but baby dust out to you and good luck and remember your not the only one out there, so keep your heads up God Bless out wombs.

dearest, the best medication is to take your mind off the point that you are trying for a baby, enjoy your husband and sex with him, if you make love and your husband comes and you did not it may also affect you not conceiving bcos you need lubrication for it to be easier for the sperm to travel and fertilise your egg,and most of all stress affects fertility, all these tips worked for me an 6 weeks gone now, good luck.

super sperm or not some people can get preg with in the first couple months coming off b/c but others it may take a year or more. I would give it a couple more months then get with your dr and see what your options are. good luck to you! i am trying myself. u will be in my prayers!

well, 14 days after the first day of your period is the best time, however, the more you worry you are only adding stress to you. sometimes the best miracles happen when you least expect it.
but u could see your dr. about fertility pills, however u may have multiples

hello there
my partner and i have been trying for a little while to, a few things that may help are: vitamin b6 is supposed to help your luteal phase and help prevent early miscarriage, at least 2lts of water per day to help increase your cervical mucus for his sperm to help reach his goal easier and folic acid in either supplement form or in lots different vegetables. also try to relax ( i know its hard !!) and enjoy the sex!! hope this helps, baby dust your way!!!

If you guys are under 30yrs old I would say give it a little more time. However, if you are over 30yrs old you may want to consult with your doctor who may refer you to a Reproductive Endocrinologist (fancy word for fertility doctor) for some testing. Good luck!
