Me, too. Day after I got DSL, in fact. My HP has "802.11a/b/g" (yeah, like I know ALL about that, but I bought it "souped up" just in case). I bought a router. All it took was, hook a DSL cable from the DSL modem to the router, then the router sends a wireless signal to your PC!

If your PC already has that there 802.11g ability then likely an 802.11g-capable router will be all you need. Otherwise, you'll need some sort of "adapter card" to plug in to your PC so's your PC can receive the signal from the router!

The router comes with step-by-step instructions for installation. My CD showed photos of the router saying "okay, now plug the cable here, and come back and hit Next on the screen when you have done so." So it was purdy easy and painless even for me.

First, you need a wireless router. These can be bought from Best Buy, Conn's, www.dell.com, etc. Second, your computer needs to either have a wireless card built in, or you have to get a USB wireless adapter. Most of the newer laptops have wireless cards built in. Most desktops do NOT have a wireless card built in, therfore you would need to purchase a wireless adapter. Third, ask someone to help you set up a SECURE network. That way, someone will have to have your password to use your wireless router.

You must first buy a $50-$100 wireless router. Then go to control panel to set up a wireless network. Then follow onscreen instruction.

All computersa that are going to get wireless from it must have an internal or external antenna.
