How accurate are the methods depicted in the TV series CSI?

It seems to me that some of the methods used are gross exaggerations, especially when they manage to "zoom" into a blurred image and identify a person from the resultant sharp image. Can this really be done?

We laugh at some of the things on that show..

Most of what happens on the show is a sped up Hollywood version of what happens in real life.

lt's a TV show and no one will watch it if they present it the way the real forensics people do. They have to make it look "exciting".
