It is entering information, usually name, address, telephone, etc. information into a database, which is a computer program that tracks and organizes such information. The most critical aspect of data entry is that the information is entered with no mistakes, and the format is consistent. There are many different database programs, some (maybe most) are basically very simple. I am sure you would receive training specific to the program if you get the job.

Sorry to say this but if you REALLY don't know what data entry skills means then you have absoulutely no chance of getting this job.

It's basically entering information onto a computer via a keyboard, accurately and in a speedy fashion.

Basically just the experience you have entering data onto a computer in excel, access etc! Entering, customer, patient details! They're just looking for someone with good computer skills and experience!

i work for a lawyer. Basicly you need to be good with people, selfsuffecent, dependable, good with computers, and you have to have a good work ethic. Its not easy being a secratrey. People see you first and most people do nto typically respect secretarys as well as the other people in the company so you will get lots of slack from some clients.
