My dad was using my computer and put on a bunch of stupid icons linking to websites he likes, programs he couldn't figure out how to find, Free Cell, stuff like that. I don't like the look of it. How do I get rid of them?

well if you dont use the program that much, you could uninstall the program or delete the icon from the desktop. you could also use the desktop cleanup wizard, which does all that for you.

There are 2 way of doing it:

1) Click on the icon that you do not need and press the "Delete" button. But be prepared, your dad might kill you.

2) Create another "User account" in "Control Panel". This way, when ever you Log In, the Desktop will be the way that you want it to be.

Just right click on the icons you don't want and select delete and it will send them to the recycle bin, you could even delete them from there.

Hold the Ctrl key down and click on each icon that you don't want. When you have them selected (high lighted) release the Ctrl key and hit "Delete". That should do it.
