The read is worth its own amount. In gathering the thoughts of others you can find wisdom of your own. There are lighter books and heavier. The part and parcel of Magick of your interest should guide you to many books.

When I'm researching some of the older books, I have a tendency to follow their phrasing and syntax. Especially when bouncing back and forth to Y answers.

It is if you like fiction. If it's Magick you're interested and not magic, then your best resource is a practicing Wiccan.

It is a good starter book if you are wanting to study Alchemy or Hermetics
