The last books I have read were The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, and Life of Pi by Yann Martel. I would definitely recommend all three of these wonderful books as well as the book I am currently reading, Jodi Picoult's The Pact. Also, Hosseini's new book A Thousand Splendid Suns and Harlen Comben's newest book, The Woods I'm sure should be great even though I haven't read them yet, as well as Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides and The Road by Cormac McCarthy.

I just started reading the "Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown and I am hooked so far. I really like "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe" by Fannie Flagg--the book is a million times better than the movie. I also like the PostSecret books, compiled by Frank Warren, they are good but they aren't novels that you can sit and read. They are usually in the art section.

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It's a crazy book about a book about a movie that doesn't exist. Great if you're into experimental novels and psychological horror.

Any book by Bentley Little. If you like Stephen King or Dean Koontz, this guy leaves them in the dust, he will scare the pants off you.
